All things Japan

In today's landmark episode – our 100th! – we talk Japanese culture and cuisine with renowned Japanophile and President of the British Sake Association, Shirley Booth.

Writer, filmmaker, broadcaster and teacher, Shirley has dedicated her career to bringing Japanese cookery to new audiences. Author of the award-winning Food of Japan and director of the celebrated documentary Japan: Food for the Spirit, she was the first ever UK recipient of the Japanese Agriculture Minister’s Award for overseas promotion of Japanese food. More recently, she has written for Goldmark a definitive guide to sake: where it comes from, how it's made, and how to pair up a bottle with your favourite pots.

Join us for a special celebration of all things Japan for our 100th GTV episode.
