Join us to view highlights from the opening day of our Phil Rogers memorial exhibition Phil Rogers A Celebration. Phil Rogers was the very first potter that Goldmark exhibited, back in November 2005. He was instrumental in the development of the gallery’s internationally renowned ceramics side and remained an important and valued friend of the gallery.
Rogers, who died late last year after a short illness, was one of Britain’s leading potters and advocates for his craft. His work is internationally respected and examples are held in the collections of more than 50 museums worldwide, including the V&A, the British Museum, the National Museum of Wales, the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, and the Museum of Modern Ceramic Art in Mino, Japan.
