Three years in the making, River is an autobiographical drawing by David Suff with original music by Kathryn Tickell (Northumbrian pipes) accompanied by Martin Simpson (guitar). The foreground riverbank represents the artist's inner life and the far bank the external world. 
Goldmark have produced a limited edition box set of River, including a facsimile sketchbook in the form of a 72-page, double-sided leporello, housed in a handmade clamshell box.
Each box includes a hand-coloured etching, signed and numbered by David Suff; a film version of River with original music by Kathryn Tickell (Northumbrian pipes) accompanied by Martin Simpson (guitar); and a filmed interview with the artist.
The whole has been printed and hand-assembled in the UK in a limited edition of 120 copies, 100 of which are for sale.
