Charlotte Cornish is a painter and printmaker who has been working professionally for over 25 years. Much of her work is held in public, private and corporate collections. She studied Fine Art at the Slade School of Art in 1992, with further studies at Central St. Martins. Her early specialism in printmaking informed her practice as a painter. Charlotte builds her paintings using layers of paint, thinking of each layer, often poured, as a distinct element.
Cornish’s recent works on paper have been made using a screen print monotype process with additional painted elements, combining the qualities of both of these mediums.
