Brangwyn was one of the best known artists of his age and was the first living artist to be given a major retrospective at the Royal Academy. Also, today one of America's most respected potters, Randy Johnston. Having studied with Warren MacKenzie and Hamada's favourite apprentice, Tatsuzo Shimaoka, Johnston is one of the most exciting and innovative potters working in America today.
