Emma Rodgers is now recognised as one of Britain's leading ceramic sculptors. She has a particularly probing insight into both the action and tenderness of the animal world. It is a subject she invests not with tamed sentimentality (as is often the case) or saccharine blandness, but with its full power and life force. Since graduating she has exhibited worldwide, including V&A, Lineart - Ghent, Royal Academy, S.O.F.A. Chicago, and most recently the Zimmer Gallery, U.S.A.
She has also been featured in a documentary dedicated to her work on the Artworld Channel. Professional Member (fellow) of the Craft Potters Association. She has exhibited at the Royal Academy on several occasions and in 2008 a major retrospective exhibition at the Williamson Gallery Liverpool. 2009 also saw her exhibit at the Chelsea Art Club.
