Sometimes the word 'gallery' simply isn't enough. Yes, it's the core of a business dedicated to the best in painting, printmaking, sculpture and ceramics. But here the books turn into paintings, the paintings turn into films. Watch our short film to find out a bit more about us and what we do.
Goldmark 35, 2024/5
A New Year brings with it fresh projects and new collaborations, and already 2025 is booking up fast here at the gallery. We’re particularly excited to be working with the wonderful Mercer Art Gallery in Harrogate from January. We’ll be lending a significant number of works to Look, Look Again!, an exciting showcase of 20th century British art. Concurrent with that exhibition, gallery artist Chris Wood will be returning to the Mercer after his last major retrospective there some 25 years ago, with an exceptional series of works inspired by the tales of the Brothers Grimm. Our ceramics calendar, for the first time in the gallery’s history, is scheduled for four major Japanese exhibitions in 2025, while the art side hopes to bring some much-needed colour to the winter months with an eclectic Raoul Dufy show. I look forward to welcoming you back to the gallery for another magnificent year of art. Mike Goldmark
